Here's some pics from my first Christmas as a married woman.

Why Fall/Winter totally rules over summer:


1. All of the best holidays are in the months of October through December and the only holiday that summer has is fourth of July. I hate fourth of July.

2. It's not too hot!

3. All of the nasty bugs die

4. There aren't children running in the streets all the time because they are out of school

5. There aren't a million teenagers in the movie theaters making noise when you go because they simply have no place to hang out

6. Most people get a day or two off work for Thanksgiving and Christmas, which means relaxing!

7. There's some great Christmas movies, but not so many great summer movies

8. Ditto with Christmas carols.

9. You can have snow in the winter! Snow is so much more fun than stupid heat.

10. Fall= Boot season! Need I say more?

11. My arms look much better in long sleeves than in short sleeves....

12. It's the season for yummy candies and fudges and baked items!

13. Twinkle lights are everywhere!

14. There are no mosquitos!

15. People you don't usually get to see come back for a visit.

16. You don't sunburn in the winter (unless you're skiing and aren't careful)

17. You get to do winter sports, like skiing.

18. Usually there's a lot of really good movies that come into theaters around Christmas

19. The leaves are so beautiful in the fall

20. Oranges come into season in winter!

21. You can buy eggnog!

22. Pumpkin pie!!!!

23. Sale items!

24. You get to wear cozy scarves!

25. Christmas episodes of t.v. shows!

Anywho, there's more I'm sure but that's it for now. Despite how great fall/winter is, summer has a couple of things I do in fact like. But overall, it's not the season for me.
